How Literature shaped me ?

Studying English Literature has a profound impact on our worldview and interactions with others.

Firstly, English Literature encourages me to critical thinking and analysis of complex issues. By closely examining texts within their social, historical, and cultural contexts, I develop insights and empathy that can be applied to real life situations.

Literature acts as a mirror reflecting the complexity of the human experience.  Engaging with characters facing adversity helps us understand the struggles people may encounter.

Studying literature enhanced my communication skills and cultural awareness. Interacting with texts from different times and cultures improved interpretation and expression.

Literature has changed the way I see, understand and recognize people. Now, I think about people differently. After studying literature I see the religion, society and its customs differently. I can see films & news from a different perspective. Now, I'm able to solve real life problems in any situation.

In the end, English Literature challenges assumptions, broadens perspectives, and deepens understanding, empowering me to engage with the world with empathy, curiosity, and insight.
