Biography:
Stephen Goodfellow has lived in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, since 2011. He moved around frequently in his youth because his parents were in the airline and beer science industries.
He lived in Nigeria, The United Kingdom, Denmark, and Mexico before settling in Detroit, Michigan, US. He began to create art while living in Mexico, then later received a formal arts education at Hull College of Art and Wayne State University, concentrating on painting and printmaking.
During this period, he invented a technique he calls Primary Micropointillism, which involves adapting commercial color printing techniques to paint by applying "small spatters of color" to the surface being worked on. By using different intensities of the three primary colors, he is able to produce an almost limitless palette. He is also a prolific writer and the author of an important article about plasma and gravitational research, "Can Gravity Be Induced?: Verifiable Observational Evidence for a Dynamic Non-Space Sun" (1979).
Three of Stephen’s works have been purchased by the Detroit Institute of Arts.
