The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization that helps Catholic men remain steadfast in their faith through mutual encouragement. Council 8613 serves 3 churches in our area. They are involved in many social and fundraising activities and promote fellowship. The Knights meet at St, John Bosco Church twice a month throughout the year.
Knights of Columbus Council 8613 would like to sincerely thank all the parishioners of Good Shepherd Church who participated in our box of joy program. With you support, and support from other area parishes, 342 boxes of joy went to children in underdeveloped countries, who otherwise would not have had a Christmas present this year. More importantly, all those children who received gift boxes will know that there are caring and loving Christian brothers and sisters who want to share the joy of Christmas with them. The spirit of Saint Nicholas is alive in our parish. Thanks to Katie Ventra and the teachers and students in the Faith Formation program for their generosity.
We want to thank the Knights of Columbus Council 8613 for their donation of $1000 towards the electrical system upgrades at Good Shepherd.
The Polish Dinner sponsored by our Knights of Columbus, Council 8613, was a huge success. We are grateful to all who gave their time and talent to prepare, serve and clean up, for those who donated cakes and other contributions and to all our patrons. Proceeds benefit the charitable works of Our Lady of Fatima Council.
The winners of the basket of cheer were: Joe Steber – Virginia - Gina Smith - Dave Digon
The Knights of Columbus Scholarship Winner this year, 2025, is Gretchen Darr.
