This song was made during the height of the Bitcoin craze in late 2017/early 2018. Bitcoin reached nearly $20,000 per coin. It's also when I started trading cryptocurrency and learned that day trading is hard. I started losing money, then I broke even, then I got out. A noob to the trading world can't ask for more than that, many people lost a lot of money.
This song was recorded with my Les Paul guitar, and everything else was virtual instruments. Never having released a rock song until this tune, and I didn't know that getting a good guitar tone was so difficult. The rhythm guitars were recorded with all the guitar knobs cranked up, because I didn't realize that the 9v battery in my active pickups was dead. I also plugged direct into the MBox Pro, and use the Eleven Rack plugin.
The drums, bass, and supplemental lead guitar were done with Xpand2 on ProTools.
This song is part of a "one by one" or "slow release" release album I'm working on called Binary Love (Songs About Technology and Pretentiousness) of which the already released song I Don't Think You Understand is part of.
Bitcoin, I love you, I love you, I love you. I love you today
Bitcoin, I hate you, I hate you, I hate you. I hate you today
Down, down, down, down, down, down...
And now my exchange is cock-blocking
Bitcoin, you love me, you love me, you love me. you love me today
Bitcoin, you hate me, you hate me, you hate me. you hate me today
When you're up I'm up
When you're down I'm down
I once had a lover just like you
Down, down, down, down, down, down...
Up, up, up, up, up, up, up...
Bitcoin, I love you, I love you, I love you.
I just bought it. It's going down now?
Bitcoin, I love you, I love you, I love you.
Ah, don't worry man. It's just a Sunday dip.
Bitcoin, I love you, I love you, I love you.
I'm really in it for the technology.
Bitcoin, I love you, I love you, I love you.
To the moon!
Bitcoin, I love you, I love you, I love you.
Man, who's spreading all this fud?
Bitcoin, I love you, I love you, I love you.
I wonder what Andreas Antonopoulos is thinking right now?
Bitcoin, I love you, I love you, I love you.
Buy the dips, bro. Buy the dips.
The face on the cover is a picture of The Fearless Girl statue that's in front of the New York Stock Exchange in the rain. Goliath liked the image for the cover because the rain could be either tears, or sweat, (or rain), juxtaposed on a face that looks nonplussed.
