Enjoy the experience of getting started in golf and learning about the history of the Montpensier Stables and the breeding of chamomile.Costa Ballena Club de Golf, in Rota, offers you the opportunity to learn the basic notions of golf, in one of the best facilities of practices throughout Europe. From the hand of our Golf Professional, you will receive a theoretical-practical class, where you will learn how to start golf. In addition, you will get to know first-hand, our recently inaugurated technical center, where you will see a demonstration of the most advanced swing analysis system, the TRACKMAN. Next, you will enjoy a wonderful buggy ride through our golf course to play 2 holes under the instruction and accompaniment of the golf teacher. Once this activity is finished, the transfer will be made to the winery. Guided visit to the Montpensier Stables. Located in the heart of the city of Sanlúcar, Las Caballerizas de Montpensier is a building belonging to the complex of the Orleans Palace in Sanlúcar de Barrameda that the Dukes of Montpensier ordered to be built from 1880. There will be a guided tour where the story about the construction of the building. You will visit the Manzanilla Winery, where there will be a tasting of one of the best Sanlúcar wines, in addition to an explanation of its production. We will visit the Sacristy, where the oxidative aging technique is shown, also carrying out different tastings. In total, they include 4 tastings of the different wines. Subsequently, the transfer will be made back to the Costa Ballena golf course, thus finalizing the perfect pairing between golf and wine, both on the golf course and in the winery, thanks to the great breadth of the facilities and that mostly performed outdoors, all security measures and protocols required by the Junta de Andalucía will be strictly complied with.
