Golf Carry ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Golf Carry mobile application.
Golf Equipment Data: Club names, brands, models, specifications, distances, and notes
Purchase Information: Purchase dates, prices, and related details you choose to enter
Bag Configurations: Names and organization of your golf bags
User Preferences: Handicap, dominant hand, units, and app settings
iCloud User ID: A unique identifier from your Apple iCloud account for syncing data
Subscription Status: Whether you have an active premium subscription
Crash Reports: Anonymous diagnostic data to help us fix bugs and improve stability
We use the information we collect to:
Provide and maintain the Golf Carry app functionality
Sync your data across your devices via iCloud
Process premium subscription purchases
Improve app performance and fix bugs
Provide customer support
All your golf equipment data is stored in your personal iCloud private database. This means:
You own your data - it's stored in your iCloud account
Only you can access your equipment data
We cannot access your personal golf equipment information
Data syncs automatically across your Apple devices signed into the same iCloud account
All data transmission uses industry-standard encryption
iCloud data is encrypted both in transit and at rest
We implement security best practices to protect your information
No passwords are stored in the app (uses Apple's secure authentication)
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Period.
The only external services that receive limited data:
Apple iCloud: Stores your equipment data in your private database (you control this data)
Firebase Crashlytics: Receives anonymous crash reports (no personal information)
Apple App Store: Processes subscription payments (handled by Apple's secure systems)
You have the right to:
Access your data: All your data is visible within the app
Delete your data: Delete individual clubs, bags, or all data through the app
Export your data: Premium subscribers can export all data to CSV/PDF format
Opt-out of analytics: Crash reporting helps us fix bugs, but you can disable in iOS Settings
Cancel subscription: Cancel anytime through App Store subscriptions (no questions asked)
Golf Carry is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
Golf Carry uses the following third-party services:

Data: Your golf equipment information

Data: Device type, iOS version, crash logs (no personal data)

Purpose: In-app purchase processing
Data: Subscription status, purchase receipts

Equipment Data: Retained until you delete it or delete the app
iCloud Backups: Managed by your iCloud settings and retention policies
Crash Reports: Retained for 90 days for debugging purposes
Subscription Data: Retained per Apple's requirements for purchase validation
Golf Carry is available worldwide. If you use the app from outside the United States:
Your data is stored in Apple's iCloud infrastructure (distributed globally)
Apple handles data residency according to their policies
You have the same privacy rights regardless of location
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
Posting the new Privacy Policy in the app
Updating the "Last Updated" date
For material changes, providing notice through the app
Your continued use of Golf Carry after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
