Mission
Be the Change is a club at Chaparral High School that strives to help the less fortunate community of Arizona. Each month our club focuses on varying issues in low-income schools and the rest of the community. We focus on exciting low income students in STEM, arts, and extracurriculars. We also, provide relief to the parts of our community that need the most at certain times. Being partners with the YMCA opens doors for our club that typically wouldn’t be available to a high school club.

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for reaching out and helping underfunded schools. HANDS-ON HELPING
HANDS-ON HELPING
Our goal is to promote great opportunities for those in need. With access to the right resources, the children can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential. We help children do reach their potential by going to their schools and helping out in ways such as tutoring, after school care, and activities like arts, crafts, and theater. By offering financial support and volunteers, we are able to offer schools resources they would not have had otherwise.
