THE COMEBACK IS ALWAYS STRONGER THAN THE SETBACK.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, I have canceled all of my Wellness Workshops for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. However, this is NOT failure. WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS. And, because of this, I think we all need to be more mindful than we have ever been... not just of our hygiene, but of the beauty, the uniqueness, and the shortness of each and every one of our precious lives.

Over the course of this crisis, I had some time to consider the role of social media in this chaos. From what I have seen, the overall POSITIVITY and SUPPORT from social media has been monumental.

My friends, THIS is what social media was designed for: celebrities offering free concerts, citizens applauding those working on the front lines, everyone making an effort to remain TOGETHER in this trying time...

And, as for my Wellness Workshops, I am able to do much more than I was planning on doing. I will be able to score some lunch periods, plan more diverse Workshops dedicated to yoga, prayer, art, music, etc. I will be able to recruit more volunteers and more students because I will be able to advertise more, and, ultimately, my Gold Award will reach more people! I absolutely cannot contain my excitement.
