In light of the pandemic, our original plans have to be adjusted. With the help of CDC guidelines and the suggestions of the FDA, we have made sure to do our research to ensure the safety of the individuals making the meals and the individuals we are serving the food to. All individuals involved will be socially distanced six feet apart from each other. I also plan to keep the number of participants under 5 per meal-making day. Everyone will be required to wear masks at all times and sanitize after every stage of preparing. The pans and pots, as well as all surfaces, will be cleaned as well. For right now, meal serving by members of our team is on hold. Although meals are not being served as of now, we make sure to keep assessing the current situation so we can provide as much help as possible. Every time the team meets, I will make sure I have all cleaning/disinfectants/PPE resources available.
