Ordination & Ministry License
To be ordained or licensed biblically begins as the biblical and legal process of examination that leads to ordination or a ministry license that affords the candidate exciting opportunities for ministry.
Such as: officiating weddings, baptisms, starting a church or other ministries, becoming a pastor or chaplain and much more (1 Tim 3:6; 5:22).
The examination should conclude that the individual is indeed called by God and has demonstrated that they are able to provide leadership for the church. It must also be determined that they are scripturally sound and spiritually grounded. This determination must be provided by the Holy Spirit (Acts 13:2).
Once the examination is complete with the assurance that the candidate meets the biblical mandate for ordination or licensing, the candidate then assumes full responsibility of their God ordained capacity for ministry and is then considered an ordained or licensed minister both biblically and legally.
Has God called you to the ministry of preaching or teaching the Word of God? Once a Christian knows God's calling; the next step is know what capacity of ministry they are called to fill. How can one know for sure they are called and to what capacity of ministry?

Ordination & Ministry License
Ordination and licensing for ministry is a very serious matter. There are many shortcuts for ordination or becoming a licensed minister that are merely generic. Serious candidates for ordination will seek a process to ordination or licensing that is both scriptural and legal.
At the ordination and licensing process includes an appropriate examination of the candidates understanding of Bible doctrine and experience in ministry application.
The authority of the call to be ordained or licensed is the exclusive prerogative of Jesus Christ alone; for He calls whomsoever He wills. He said to His disciples: "Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain." (John 15:16).
An ordained or licensed minister is primarily concerned with leading unbelievers to Christ and Christians to maturity. (1 Tim 3:6).
