We are Huamei Collective, a tight-knit team of Christian Chinese who have received a clear calling from God to complete a mission entrusted to us. Guided by Biblical teachings, our foundational purpose is to honor God and love people—first receiving His love, then sharing it with the world. At the same time, our Chinese heritage roots us in the classic principle of 天人合一（tiān rén hé yī), which means the unity of heaven and humanity (Gensis 1 "God saw all that he had made, and it was very good." Daniel 4:32 "The Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth"). This philosophy teaches a natural progression of life: cultivating oneself, strengthening the family, contributing to society, and ultimately bringing peace to all under heaven.

Throughout our lives, these two core values—Christian faith and Chinese cultural wisdom—have shaped our character and worldview. Over many years, our understanding of both has deepened. Now, with a clear vision from God, we believe it is the right time to begin this work and serve people through fine art.

As visual artists, we recognize that human engagement with the world is profoundly shaped by sight—nearly 80% of our perception comes through visual input. People across cultures love music, but the appreciation of visual art is far less widespread. In Christianity, hymns have long carried the beauty of praise. Yet the appreciation of sacred painting has never reached the same range. There are hymns of praise, but no established tradition of visual hymns. We are determined to change this. Through our calling and our craft, we devote ourselves to creating visual hymns—paintings of praise that honor God through the language of texture, form, and color.
