No. It's wordplay.
Using the affirmation Godis is not a replacement for Goddess. It was always meant to be "God is Nanu". Nanu means beautiful. So you are saying "God is Beautiful". I also go by the affirmation "Nanu". So you may also be saying God is "me". This is not in the sense that I am the Most High Creator God, but that I am walking in my power and authority as a child of God, adopted into the Godhead through Christ. This is where Christ Consciousness comes in. When you have surrendered to God as a vessel, then you are an expression of God on earth through Sanctification, operating with the mind of Christ.
John 17: 16-21
"They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me."
1 Corinthians 6:17
"But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit"
Psalm 82:6
"I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High"
John 10:33-36
"The Jews answered him, sying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him who the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?"
If you read any of these scriptures in context, you will notice a common theme. The conversation is always about doing the works of God, being set apart, sanctified, and living a holy life. Basically, having control over your own mind, body, and spirit. That is Self-Mastery.
Self-Mastery is bringing all aspects of yourself under submission —mind, body, and spirit. If you are not a Master over yourself, then something else may be and that means that you aren't choosing for yourself. That is no way to live.
Prov. 25:28
"Whoever has no rule over his own spirit Is like a city broken down, without walls."
That means anyone and anything can come and go as it pleases. This can be true for your body, mind, or spirit.
I don't.
I do follow the example of Yeshua(Isa/Jesus). You could say that makes me a Christian, however, I wouldn't wish to be associated with most churches today due to the abomination of desolation that is so prominent in most of them. Also, I believe Yeshua is the answer that all religions and spiritual systems are seeking. The message he brings is the solution that the whole world is seeking; if we can put aside ego and dogma, to really hear the heart of the Creator God.
What is the abomination of desolation?
This starts with a prophecy from Daniel about the fall of Jerusalem. According to Theologians, this prophecy was partially fulfilled in 167BC when Antiochus IV set up an altar to Zeus in place of the altar to God and sacrificed a pig on the altar instead of an acceptable sacrifice without blemish. It is mentioned again in Matthew 24, after the disciples ask Yeshua about his return. Today, we see false images being worshiped inside the so called temples of God and instead of the believers presenting themselves as acceptable sacrifices, they bringing themselves wholly defiled, just as swine, to the altar. Please do not associate me with that! However, I do follow Christ!
No.
I'm someone who walks in light, follows after the example of Yeshua, draws on the Creator of all that Good as my source of Life/Light, and my intention is to help others walk in the light and reach a state of Christ Consciousness.
Most people, due to being spiritually oppressed or overly religious, have a skewed understanding of what witchcraft is. They think anything outside of the tools they have been given in church is witchcraft. In actuality, prayer could be witchcraft, depending on how it is used. Someone can easily be praying against another person. That is just as much witchcraft as anything else. Prayer is a tool. It's not the tools that you are using, it's the user, their intention, and their source of power that makes it witchcraft.
Here's a familiar example. If I create a healing sigil for someone to help them hone their prophetic gifts or to drive away unwanted spirits, someone in ignorance may think it's witchcraft because they didn't see that symbol in the church. However, when a priest uses a cross to cast out a demon or a pastor use, no one thinks it is witchcraft. Yet someone with evil intent can also use a cross. The cross is a symbol. The cross itself doesn't hold any power. The person using it, their source of power, and their intention is what make that thing malicious or benevolent. Remember God is Good.
This may be hard for someone to wrap their head around, but someone could use Tarot cards for extra clarity or affirmation from God because God is the source that they look to and because they are filled with God's spirit. The cards themselves have no power other than what you give to it. Remember even the Bible has been used to commit all kinds of evil throughout history. Even today scripture is still used by some as a means of oppression and manipulation. THAT is witchcraft.
It can be.
Yoga is a spiritual tool. Just like any spiritual tool, when you are using it without proper guidance and understanding, it's like playing with fire. Yoga connects the mind, body, and spirit so if you or the person leading you through the asanas are not properly aligned spiritually, you can't be sure what you are opening yourself up to spiritually.
Yoga and meditation open you up spiritually. Who or what you are opening up to has to be intentional, just as when you are praying. Would you pray with just anyone? Pray to anything listening? Would you allow just anyone to place their hand on your person and pray?
The wise answer to that should be no.
When you are spiritually open to just anything, then that's what you will get... ANYTHING.
