08/09/2026 The manuscript called "An interpolation problem beyond Gevrey Regularity" by J. Dimitrić, Đ. Vučković, and  M. Žigić is submitted to the Electronic Research Archive. 

09/09/2026 Joint paper by S. Pilipović, B. Prangoski, and S. Tutić, "On the pullback on spaces of distributions with prescribed microregularity with respect to a general Banach space", to the journal RACSAM.

10-20/09/2026 S. Jakšić initiated an investigation of fractionalized differential equations and solved them using the fractional Hankel transform. This is a continuation of her work on the fractional Hankel transform in collaboration with S. Maksimović, S. Atanасova, and S. Pilipović. The motivation comes from the fact that fractionalization may provide a more general description of physical processes. 

13-24/09/2026 The reviewer's report on the manuscript "Convolution and Product in Finitely Generated Shift-Invariant Spaces" by A. Aksentijević, S. Aleksić, and S. Pilipović was received from Applicable Analysis and Discrete Mathematics (AADM).  The authors worked on revising the manuscript to address the reviewer's comments, and the revised version is submitted to Applicable Analysis and Discrete Mathematics (AADM).

14/09/ 2026 Monday meetings: Survey on current research and plans for near-future research activities.

14-25/09/ 2026 F. Tomić actively participated in the preparation of the project proposal entitled "Data-driven and Model-driven Collaborative Intelligent Control for Distributed Parameter Systems (COMODIS)", submitted under the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia's call for scientific cooperation with the People's Republic of China. His main tasks were in preparing and coordinating the project budget, developing the Gantt chart, and outlining the project timeline, planned activities, and implementation schedule. The project proposal was prepared in collaboration with colleagues from the Department of Computing and Control Engineering, and the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Technical Sciences.

15/09/ 2026 Zoom meeting of SOFTA coordinators and team members was held. N. Teofanov and S. Tutić participated in the SOFTA meeting (multilateral project). During the meeting, participation in the upcoming workshop Local and Global Aspects of Function Spaces and Operators, to be held in Marseille from 16 to 20 November 2026, was discussed.

15/09/ 2026 N. Teofanov had a Zoom meeting with J. Toft, C. Pfeuffer and E. Nabizadeh Morsalfard regarding the progress in their joint paper.

18/09/2026 Contracts for the external revision of the GOALS project are signed.

18/09/2026 The paper "Positive solutions for a singular fractional boundary value problem with nonlocal conditions", by S. Aleksić, S. Dimitrijević, and T. Tomović-Mladenović, is accepted for publication in Differential Equations and Applications.

20-30/09/2026 N. Teofanov and M. Žigić worked on the regular review and adjustment of the GOALS project budget.

20/09/2026 S. Tutić had a meeting with Prof. Pilipović regarding the preparation of his doctoral dissertation. 

28-30/9/2026 M. Žigić, F. Tomić, Đ. Vučković, and J. Dimitrić agreed to initiate a new research collaboration and began working on a manuscript provisionally entitled “Eigenfunction Expansions on Extended Gelfand–Shilov spaces”. The main idea is to characterize extended Gelfand-Shilov classes via iterates of the elliptic Shubin-type operators.

28/9/2026 Department of Mathematics and Informatics PMFUNS proposed N. Teofanov as a member of the Parent Scientific Committee for Mathematics, computer science, and mechanics.

30/09/2026 S. Tutić created a website for the upcoming GOALS2026 workshop, which will be held in Novi Sad.
