I 'm in the field of nursing and I've been hearing about CRISPR gene editing a lot ever since I started my bio pre req. When I saw this project it just came up on my mind.

In just 13 years after its genetic utility was realized, CRISPR became an FDA-approved therapy for sickle cell disease. Looking ahead, this remarkable technology could soon cure genetic flaws by allowing the body to edit its own DNA safely.
