Effective date: October 19, 2026 Developer: Sébastien Thibert, Sebby's Arcade Games ("we", "us") Contact: sebbysarcade@gmail.com
This policy explains what information the Go-Stop: Collection app ("the app") uses, why, and the choices you have. The short version: the app has no ads, collects anonymous usage statistics you can switch off, optional ratings you choose to send and, when you sign in, your game results for statistics and your profile, and we never sell or rent your information.
You can play solo games (Regular, Survival, Village Tables, the tutorial) without signing in. Your profile, progress, settings, saved games and match history are then stored only on your device. The only things the app sends are the anonymous usage statistics described in section 2a (only if you agree to share them) and a request for the current date and time from our server, used so weekly challenges and seasonal events follow the real calendar. That request contains no information about you; like any connection, it reveals your IP address to our server, which does not keep it.
Online features (cloud save, friends, online and turn-based multiplayer, notifications) require you to sign in with Google Play Games. When you do, we receive and store:
Google Play Games identity: your Play Games player ID and gamer tag, used only to sign you in and find your Play Games friends. Your gamer tag and Play Games picture are never shown to other players. We never receive your email address or password.
Go-Stop username and player ID: the username you choose (unique, changeable once every 30 days) and a Go-Stop player ID ("GS-" followed by 8 letters and digits) given to your account. The ID never changes, so your friends, records and statistics stay with you when you rename. For Korean names we also keep their Latin spelling, shown to English and French players.
Game profile and progress: your in-game name, chosen avatar, frame and colours, levels, experience, unlocks, achievements progress, statistics (including a log of every game you finish from October 18, 2026: mode, opponent, result, score and round details), settings, solo games in progress and recent match history (cloud save, so it follows you to your other devices). Some settings are kept per type of device (for example "phone" or "tablet").
Multiplayer data: your friend code, Go-Stop friends list, friend requests, blocked players, tables you create or join, invitations, match moves and results, turn-based games, your multiplayer record, ratings you give or receive (thumbs up or down), and whether you are online or in a match (shown to your friends).
Notification token: a Firebase Cloud Messaging token, so we can tell you when it's your turn, a friend invites you or someone sits at your table. To detect delivery problems, our server keeps a short log of recent notification attempts (time, player ID, notification type and delivery result). This log is kept in memory only and is cleared whenever the server restarts.
Technical data: your app version and protocol version (the app version is also sent with your player profile; only the developer can see it, it is never shown to other players), and the IP address your connection comes from, which our server and hosting provider handle to keep the service running and to limit abuse (for example rate limiting). We do not use it to locate you.
To learn which parts of the game are played and improve it, the app can send anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics for Firebase, whether or not you sign in. The app asks you the first time whether to share them, and sends nothing until you say yes. They describe how the game is used, for example: which modes and computer opponents you play, rounds and matches finished and their results (points, Go calls, house rules, missions), the rules changed in Custom games, which reactions you send, weekly challenges and achievements completed, seasonal event tasks and prizes earned, which screens you open, and your chosen looks (table, cards, stamps, wallpaper), level, app version, device model and country (from your IP address, which Google does not store). They never include your name or gamer tag, chat, the other players' details, or your advertising ID, and they are not used for advertising. You can switch them off at any time in Settings › Account › Share anonymous usage stats. Google keeps this data for up to 14 months.
To understand how the game is played, our server keeps daily totals for every game mode: for example how many players were active, how many matches were started in each mode, which house rules came up and how many reactions were sent. When you are signed in, the app also sends the result of each solo game you finish (Regular, Survival or Village Tables): the mode, the result, the number of rounds, the score and the level or tier reached. These are added to the daily totals; the server keeps, for each day, the best and longest runs together with the username of the player who made them. To count each player only once a day, the server briefly keeps the Play Games player IDs seen that day; they are discarded at the end of the day. The totals and best runs are kept for up to 120 days, contain no other personal details, and are seen only by the developer. The developer may also look at the statistics and game log in your cloud save (section 2), per player and across all players, to balance the game, improve it and help with problems you report; these views are private to the developer and never shared or published.
Other players can see your Go-Stop username, avatar, frame, name plate, title, levels and badges (for example the beta-tester badge), and, depending on your choice in Settings › Show my stats (everyone, friends only or nobody), the statistics you share: your solo record (rounds and win rate, favourite mode, best round, Survival and Village Tables bests), your record against other players (matches won and lost), your title and achievements, and when you last played. Your record against a specific player (matches between the two of you) is shown to both of you. Your Go-Stop friends can also see what you're currently playing (the mode and round, or that you're in a live match and with whom); you can turn this off in Settings (Show friends what I'm playing).
Reporting a player. When signed in, you can report another player for one of these reasons: cheating or a modified app, an inappropriate username, abusive behaviour, or other, with an optional note of up to 200 characters. Reports are anonymous: the reported player is never told who reported them. Our server stores your player ID, the reported player's ID, the reason, your note and the time, so that the report can be reviewed and so that repeated or excessive reports can be limited (for example, a limit on how many reports you can send per day).
Moderation. To detect cheating, modified apps or saves, or abuse, the developer may review reports and the account data described in section 2, including game statistics and a multiplayer experience (XP) consistency check that compares the progress an account claims with the games recorded on our server. As a result, we may:
limit an account: online play and cloud save uploads are paused, while solo play and the data already saved are kept; the app shows the player the reason;
require a username change: the username is removed and cannot be used again. We store a record of each moderation action (the action, the reason and the date). If you think an action was a mistake, contact us at sebbysarcade@gmail.com.
Local multiplayer uses Google Nearby Connections over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to connect two phones in the same room. On Android 12 and older, Android requires the Location permission for this; the app does not read or store your location. Nothing about a local match is sent to our server, except that, when you are signed in, your updated record and statistics are part of your cloud save.
Bug reports, ideas and crash reports are only sent if you choose to send them, from your own email app. They include your app version and phone model, and, if you choose, a game log (the moves of your current and previous round, your match so far, your settings and screen size, and an encrypted part only the developer can open to replay that round). You can read everything before sending. We use these emails only to fix problems and improve the game.
Optional in-app ratings. At the end of the tutorial and of University mode you may give a star rating and an optional comment. If you press Send, the rating, your comment, the app version, the device language and the phone model are sent to our server. Nothing is sent unless you press Send. Ratings are not linked to your account, Play Games ID or any other identifier, and are seen only by the developer, who uses them only to improve the game. Please don't put personal information in your comment.
To run the game's online features: cloud save, friends, matchmaking, live and turn-based play, invitations and notifications.
To keep play fair and safe: enforcing time limits, handling disconnects, blocking, rating, reviewing player reports, detecting cheating and modified apps or saves, and preventing abuse (section 2d).
To fix bugs and improve the app, using reports and ratings you send us.
To understand, in aggregate, which modes, rules and features are used, using anonymous usage statistics and our server's daily totals (sections 2a and 2b). We do not use your information for advertising or profiling, and we make no automated decisions with legal or similar effects about you; moderation actions are decided by the developer.
Other players see what a game needs: your Go-Stop username, avatar, level, record, online status (friends only) and your moves in matches you play together. They never see who reported them.
Service providers who process data for us: Google Cloud (Cloud Run and Firestore) hosts our server and database; Google Firebase delivers notifications and processes the anonymous usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase); Google Play Games Services handles sign-in, achievements and leaderboards. Their use is governed by Google's privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
Legal reasons: if required by law, or to protect players' safety or our rights. We never sell or rent your information.
Data is stored on Google Cloud servers, which may be located outside your country. We keep it while you use online features. Finished turn-based games and inactive tables are closed automatically (a turn-based game closes after 21 days without a move). Optional ratings are kept for up to 3 years. Player reports and moderation records are kept as long as they are needed for review and to keep a moderation history, and are deleted when you ask us to delete your account data. The notification log is kept in memory only and is cleared when the server restarts. Earlier copies of your cloud save are kept for up to 7 days so you can restore them (Settings › Account & data › Cloud save). You can ask us to delete your online data at any time (see section 9); we will delete it within 30 days, except where we must keep something by law. On October 18, 2026 all players' progress was reset for the public release; a copy of the progress and online record from before that date is kept on our server (it is not shown in the app) until you ask us to delete it or it is no longer needed.
Connections to our server are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS), and sign-in is verified through Google Play Games. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Play without signing in, or sign out of Play Games, to stop sending data.
Turn off notifications in Android settings, and turn off invitations in the app's settings.
Block players or remove friends at any time.
Switch off anonymous usage statistics in Settings › Account.
Contest a moderation action (a limited account or a required username change) by emailing sebbysarcade@gmail.com.
Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your online data by emailing sebbysarcade@gmail.com from any address, with your Go-Stop username, Go-Stop player ID (shown in the app under Friends and in Customize) or friend code.
Ratings are optional: skip them by not pressing Send. Because they are anonymous, we can find and delete one only if you tell us its date and what your comment said. Depending on where you live (for example the European Union, the United Kingdom, Canada or California), you may have additional rights, such as data portability or objecting to processing, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We honour these requests wherever you live.
The solo game is suitable for all ages. Online features are intended for players 13 and older (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher). We do not knowingly collect information from younger children; if you believe a child has used online features, contact us and we will delete their data.
We may update this policy. We will change the effective date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
