Organic Poultry

Hello, my name is Gretchen Mueller. I am starting a small poultry farming business where I will be selling organic meat and eggs from my flock. I currently have about 11 chickens(9 hens and 2 roosters) with more on the way. I am now selling eggs and can support about 5 families. If you call for eggs I will do my best to get you the next available dozen. As for meat, I do not plan to sell until I get a steady rotation of birds established. The reason is to ensure that I can meet the needs of the market I will serve and have be a steady flow of birds to butcher, so I am not gradually diminishing my flock. I believe that people should know where their food is coming from, therefore, on this site I will be sharing photos and stories of the wonderful birds I care for every day. People will be able to see my flock, their habitats, and the way they are cared for everyday. I will gladly answer any questions and address any concerns you may have.
