Will of Goss Family Farms. Farm Tour: Bees, Animals, Vegetables
Coming back to the family farm, Will Goss has a big heart for working along side his dad while continuing to provide good food for his family and the community. The 4th Generation farm has moved from poultry houses to a way of small-scale and diversified farming that we all want to see more of. Tour the farm, hear where they've come, and where they want to go. www.facebook.com/GossfamilyFarms
Carly of Echoes Farmstead. Farm Tour: Small Scale Vegetables
After working on other farms, Carly is in her first year farming for herself! She's converting an abandoned pasture from invasive pear trees on old family land into a mixed vegetable market garden. Learn about her journey so far, using cover crops and tarping instead of tilling, and how she was able to find her niche in the market with quick growing greens. www.instagram.com/echoes_farmstead
