He was my writing and reading teacher, in this Summer English program '18 at Purdue.
He was my support for achieving my writing and reading SMART Goals.
He always was available to proofread my grant proposal.
I just wanna say: Thanks, Steve!!
I submitted my Grant Proposal to PMI on last July 31st.
(R&W_1) I will improve my academic writing skill by writing, every day,at least four paragraphs on my either academic manuscript or grant proposal through July '18.

- Writing drafts
- Write in English-academic settings: a) manuscript to be submitted to the ASCE Journal, and b) grant proposoal to be submitted to Project Management Institute (PMI)
- Write each day two paragraphs of my manuscript whose title is: "Statistical Characterization of Projects Cost Overruns Based on a Meta-Analysis"
- Write each day two paragraphs of my grant proposal whose title is: "Correlation between Project Management Practices and Infrastructure Development Indicators"
- Write using the computers of the Engineering Library
- Write in two time blocks: from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
2. Reviewing drafts
- Review my drafts and fix some errors by self
- Use the following resources: Merriam Webster dictionary, Linguee, Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English Online, and Thesaurus
- Print the paragraphs and re-read them for checking at home
3. Proofreading
- Proofread my paragraphs by appointments in the writing lab
- Proofread my paragraphs with Steve Moriarty
- Fix the errors and make the corrections suggested by my proofreaders
- Writing final version
- Print the final version
- Summited the grant proposal and the manuscript
(R&W_2) I will increase my academic reading, through the following three weeks, by reading at least one paper each two days and taking notes for writing my manuscript and the grant proposal.

- Read and summarize one article per day about cost overrun in construction and engineering projects
- Read and summarize one article per day about project management practices
3. References & Citation Style
- Write the proper referencia and citation according to the APA format
