What I like to call a diamond in the rough. Bangers like "The Good, Bad, the Ugly", and "Disperse", they really make this album more deserving of love and streams.

Don't Quit Your Day Job! - Review
Be is a soulful, introspective LP, blending great lyricism and rich producution, courtesy of Kanye West, taking a cohesive stance on hip-hop.

Be - Review
Personally, the greatest hip-hop album to ever be recorded. The fusion of jazz and fantastic storytelling create this gem of a project. The portrayal of a corrupt, discriminative America is top-notch and hard-hitting. The use of a cocoon to represent Compton and the only way to make it out, is to pimp his musical talent out to labels and the self-entitled world. Truly, a stellar example of rap.

To Pimp a Butterfly - Review
Drake's most fantastic project, in my opinion. His last good one as well. It marks a more aggressive turn in his career, rapping over moody production. Many criticise it for lack of emotional depth and cohesion, but it widely affected the sound of 2010's rap.

If You're Reading This It's Too Late - Review
Reminiscent of 90's boom-bap and a skater soundtrack, it delivers infectious fun and energy. A Beastie Boys-esque delivery. Some find it more style than substance - although that's just the charm of it.

No Hands - Review
Legendary duo Kid Cudi and Kanye West deliver a psychedelic, genre-bending outlook on mental health and self-discovery. Propped up by haunting production and emotion. Though short, the quality is unmatched. Although the vocals personally rubbed me the wrong way.

KIDS SEE GHOSTS - Review
Chaotic and all over the place LP that blends punk, fusion and experimental hip-hop in a charming way. A reflection of his rebellious creativity and ambition. While it's despised for it's abrasive production, it executes it in a fun way.
My Rating - 75/100

Cherry Bomb - Tyler, The Creator
A ferocious, genre-defying assault of industrial noise, adrenaline and experimental hip-hop that confuses your brain on the first listen. The abrasive sound of course isn't for everyone, but it's hailed as a ground-breaking and influential cult classic in the underground scene.
My Rating - 95/100

The Money Store - Review
This album is a hypnotic, vibe-driven project that prioritises ad-libs over actual lyrics, but doing it so well. Creating an addictive and chaotic soundscape. While dismissed as incoherent and shallow, it's innovative production and energy have made it a staple in the rage rap scene.
My Rating - 85/100
