In keeping with our ethos of CREATING SOLUTIONS FOR GLOBAL EDUCATION CHALLENGES THROUGH TECHNOLOGY, we work with the International Baccalaureate® (IB) framework, and introduce the United Nations' SDGs together with leading experts in the arts and education fields to create a new learning environment, with positive outcomes. Through a combination of on-line and on-site instruction, through trained teachers, remote and visiting educators and experts, we are able to deliver a fully comprehensive bespoke arts and music curriculum to inspire and engage students, while shaping a brighter and better tomorrow.
Global Lighthouse Studios (GLS) is based in Douglas County, Colorado but their reach is around the globe. With over 135 schools in 80 countries in their network they provide unique arts and music programming to classrooms K-12 on a global scale. GLS has successfully managed dozens of programs around the world and works with some of the most talented and unique artists from diverse genres of world music.
"Unleashing Creativity" is an inspiring and interactive art course designed specifically for elementary,middle and high school students. This course is crafted to unlock the imaginative potential within each student by incorporating diverse techniques, visual interpretations, creativity exercises, and foundational drawing skills. Throughout this artistic journey, students will immerse themselves in literature, experiment with unique prompts, and explore a variety of art mediums, enabling them to express themselves artistically and uncover their unique creative identities. This course will take place online for a duration of 8 weeks with Resident Artists including: Bobbi Bicker (London) & Fahmi Khan (USA)
Global Lighthouse Studios highlights the importance of looking at our past as a window to our future. This flagship program, "Ancient Cities of the Future" will delve into the theme of Sustainable Cities. Throughout the semester, participants will explore a range of topics, including transport systems, urban planning, water management, sanitation, waste disposal, pollution mitigation, disaster risk reduction, education, and sustainable agriculture. Beginning with Maslow's hierarchy of needs as a foundational framework, students will examine the patterns and systems inherent in ancient societies, identifying their resonance in modern urban settings and envisioning their implications for future cities. By exploring these connections and experiences, students will develop a deeper understanding and empathy for both historical and contemporary populations facing similar challenges. Together, let's inspire our students to think critically about the future and become proactive agents of change.
Join us for "Garden Grooves," a unique collaborative initiative between Global Lighthouse Studios, Green Bronx Machine, and the David Z Foundation, aiming to empower students through music and global connections.
Global Lighthouse Studios will work with students as they immerse themselves in the renowned Green Bronx Machine curriculum—a dynamic program that integrates the cultivation of vegetables with academic instruction across all subjects, creating a comprehensive and engaging learning experience for students. Students gain hands-on experience in exploring, discovering, and creating their own ecosystems. Through this innovative curriculum, students will not only learn about urban agriculture but also explore the creative process of composing and performing music inspired by their experiences.This program is rooted in empathy and celebrates the dedication of teachers, students, families and communities, showcasing what is achievable when people unite for the well-being of children.
One of the highlights of this program is the opportunity for students to write and produce a song that reflects their journey and learnings. Students will be keeping a Healthy Habits journal and use their experience as an inspiration to write the song. This song will not only showcase their talents but also serve as a powerful expression of their connection to global themes of sustainability, community well-being.
By immersing students in music, growing healthy food, and fostering community engagement, we create a holistic approach to well-being. Healthy eating fuels the body and brain, providing essential nutrients that support cognitive function and emotional stability. Music, with its therapeutic qualities, reduces stress, enhances mood, and improves mental health. Together, these activities support physical, emotional, and psychological well-being, helping students lead more balanced and harmonious lives.

The Musical Theater Program, provides students with an immersive, year-long creative journey that merges performance, storytelling, and cultural exploration. Students begin by studying a current musical, delving into its structure, themes, and characters. Then, in a transformative twist, they infuse the production with elements from their own cultures and countries, giving the musical a unique, personalized perspective.
Throughout the year, learners will not only develop their acting, singing, and dance skills but will also explore costume design, set production, and script adaptation. By reimagining the musical through the lens of their cultural experiences, students gain deeper insight into their heritage and the universal power of storytelling. The program culminates in a live performance, showcasing their original take on a modern classic, leaving a lasting impact on their creative and personal growth
“Little Blues Rockers" is an engaging and immersive program designed to introduce PreK students to the rich history and cultural significance of blues music. In partnership with Keeping the Blues Alive Foundation we provide a series of fun and interactive lessons, young learners will embark on a journey to explore the origins of blues, learn about influential blues musicians, and gain an understanding of the 12-bar blues structure.
Students will have the opportunity to express their thoughts, observations, and imaginations by participating in group activities that encourage creativity and collaboration. They'll explore how music can convey feelings and experiences while gaining insight into how instruments and art forms reflect cultural perspectives from both the past and present.
In addition to historical exploration, "Little Blues Rockers" will guide students in the fundamentals of songwriting. They will compose and record their original blues song, allowing them to apply their newfound knowledge and express their unique voices through music.
By actively engaging with the blues genre, students will develop an appreciation for this influential musical style while reinforcing key concepts, such as self-expression and cultural awareness. "Little Blues Rockers" is a dynamic program that fosters creativity, collaboration, and a deep understanding of the world through the lens of music.
It is a customizable 4-8 week program that meets virtually to provide access to all schools regardless of location or technological accessibility.
