Brie Ellis is the founder of The Lioness In The Darkness, a global movement rooted in the Pacific Northwest and built on truth, courage, and connection. As a mother, author, and survivor, Brie has transformed her own journey through internet trauma into a powerful mission: to educate, advocate, and empower families to navigate the digital world with strength and awareness.
Her work blends trauma-informed education with fierce advocacy, equipping parents, caregivers, and young people with the tools they need to protect emotional safety online. Brie believes healing begins with conversation so she creates spaces where those conversations can happen. Through storytelling, digital safety education, and creative resources like the Superhero Safety Squad, Den of the Lionhearted, and Glow Loudly Grown-ups she’s helping others find their voice and stand in their power.
Brie’s vision is bigger than one home, one school, or one city. The Lioness In The Darkness is growing into a worldwide community of families, educators, and advocates who are ready to shine light into the darkest corners of the internet — and to remind every survivor that their story matters no matter their age.
