Background:

• I am a resident of Canada, born and brought up in India. My background is in Computer Science and Engineering. My professional work involves data analysis, data science and creating visualisations to help inform business decisions.
• I spend my spare time working for the community in education and learning sciences, and some of those activities is described below.
• As of now I am working as a community moderator and facilitator of the online course titled “Learning Creative Learning” conducted every year by the LLK group at the M.I.T. Media Lab, MA, U.S.A. (2018 - present).
• I have worked hard to empower autistic children through behaviour intervention and introduction to a visual programming language called Scratch, in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada (2018).
• Conducted independent research addressing a social concern of children in India which was presented as a poster at the 2018 Scratch Conference, M.I.T. Media Lab, MA, U.S.A. (2017 - 2018).
• As a “Maker Educator” at the KID Museum at Bethesda, MD, U.S.A., I designed creative workshops on STEAM for 4 years (2013 - 2017).
• Collaborated with the Harvard Graduate School of Education, the Scratch Foundation and the Kid Museum to initiate a ScratchEd meet-up in the Washington DC area (Feb 2017).
• Taught Mathematics to less privileged children in grades 5-7, in India, for several years (2007 - 2013).
