Global competence is the ability to navigate in our ever-changing world with understanding and appreciation for all people and cultures. In order to build global competence, teachers need to study the resources of multiple institutions and educators in the field. However, teachers also need to become knowledgeable about the world and current events in order to convey that knowledge and spirit of inquiry to students.
