As a global scholar in the Singapore pen pal program, I participated in multiple dialogue sessions over the course of three weeks with our sister school through Zoom. We discussed what school life was like for us, our favorite traditions, and our experiences in different countries. I learned that despite living in different countries, we could easily connect over similar interests. This experience showed me how connected the world really is and motivates me to seek similar experiences in the future.
