OUR COMMUNITY ACTION PROJECT
Our community action project was about food waste. We wanted to make people in the neighbourhood aware of food waste.
We went out to the street to give out fridge magnets with the motto "stop food waste" so that people remember when opening the fridge. We also gave bookmarks with some facts about food waste in English and Catalan for everybody to understand.
We gave all that to the people who answered our survey about food waste. This survey was a good option to know what people think about the food waste and to check if they reuse food.

We thought that our first idea was bad, and we thought that conducting a survey was a good idea. Izan.J and Denis wrote the post for the project plan discussion. Kaira, Nerea and Aida wrote the questions for the survey. Izan and Zhouyi wrote an email for the teacher to print our materials. Izan.J and Denis looked for feedback and gave feedback in the e-classroom. Izan.G and Denis finished giving feedback for our peer AnjolW.
Kaira finished the survey in English and in Spanish. Izan.J and Denis made the flyers in English. Izan.G and Zhouyi sent an email to Ariadna Daura, our school principal, asking for permission to exit the school one morning. Izan.J and Denis finished the flyers.
Izan.J and Denis found a reply and we finished the survey. Izan.J and Denis created a table to record the results of the survey.
Zhouyi sent a reply and Izan.G wrote the information for the flyers. Aida and Nerea went on with the table to record the results of the survey. Izan.J and Denis worked on the flyers.
Zhouyi wrote a reply for the Daniel.B in the e-classroom. Izan.J finished the flyers.
Aida and Zhouyi cut the flyers. Izan.J and Denis sent the survey to the teacher.

Reflection: We were surprised with the results of the survey because we did not expect those results.
There are a lot of people who reuse food and normally old people don’t try to reuse food because it is a lot of work for them.
