1. Acceptance of Terms By installing and using the Glimmer Chrome Extension ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please uninstall the Extension immediately.
2. Description of Service Glimmer is a productivity tool that facilitates text refinement and drafting through the Google Gemini API. Glimmer does not provide the AI service itself; it acts as an interface between the user and Google’s AI models.
3. API Key Responsibility
User Ownership: You are required to provide your own Gemini API key to use Glimmer.
Security: Your API key is stored locally on your device via Chrome’s secure storage sync. Glimmer developers never see, store, or have access to your API key.
Confidentiality: You are solely responsible for keeping your API key private. Do not share your key or screenshots containing your key. You are responsible for any costs incurred on your Google Cloud/AI account resulting from the use of Glimmer.
4. User Conduct & Content You agree not to use Glimmer to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the terms of service of the social media platforms (X, LinkedIn, etc.) where you post.
5. Limitation of Liability Glimmer is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or appropriateness of the AI-generated text. We are not liable for:
Inaccurate AI responses or "hallucinations."
Any social media account restrictions resulting from AI-generated content.
Loss of data or API credit exhaustion.
