Reno is a promising young buck who combines some of the best genetics in the Nigerian Dwarf breed, blending milk production, show success, and structural correctness.

His sire, Quaking Canopy Coup De’Tat *B (“Cootie”), brings together strength on both sides of the pedigree. Cootie is sired by Redstone Feel Like A Stranger, a son of the renowned SG Redstone SF Dark Star VEEE 92, who has been on ADGA’s Elite list for six consecutive years and is a proven Breed Leader. On the maternal side, Cootie’s dam, SG Quaking Canopy Olly Olly 4*M VEVE 90, earned two Grand Champion wins in 2020. Olly Olly is admired for her excellent mammary system and persistence in the milk pail, producing an impressive 1,400 lbs of milk in her 5th lactation.

Reno’s dam, Castle Rock Bless Her Heart 6*M EEEV 90 (“Jessie”), contributes Castle Rock’s signature excellence in both type and production. Jessie is a paternal half-sister to Castle Rock Tahitian Sunset, the 2019 ADGA National Champion, further cementing the strength of this dam line. Jessie herself is sired by SG Castle Rock Cleveland Sage +B, an Elite sire in 2014/2015, and out of GCH/ARMCH Algedi Farm S Honey Heart 5M**, adding proven show ring and performance depth to Reno’s maternal side.

With such a pedigree, Reno is expected to reliably pass on improvements in production and udder quality, particularly in teat placement, length, thickness, and medial suspensory ligaments, along with long, level rumps. Early reports already show that he stamps his kids with correctness and dairy character.
