The Gaelic League/Irish Amrican Club of West Michigan has been in existence for more than 20 years.
Regularly scheduled meetings and events took place right up
until 2020 when Covid halted public gatherings.
In 2025, a small group of longtime members began resurrecting the organization.
The “G.L.I.A.C. of West MI” has been seen at The Sparta Celtic Fest and the Grand Rapids Public Museum’s Cultural Heritage Festival each year most every year.
New members are needed to help keep the Club from shutting down like so many other Cultural groups and Societies in our area have over the past couple of decades.
If you are proud of your Irish Heritage or simply interested in preserving our Irish Culture in West Michigan, we hope you will consider joining our “informal Group” and helping us rebuild
it for the generations yet to come!
Currently, the Group meets on most every second Monday of the Month at the Coopersville Area District Library, 333 Ottawa Street,
Coopersville, MI, United States, 49404 from 6:30-7:45PM.
Currently no dues are being collected from members and our
organization is in the process of regaining it’s non-profit status.
