Cross-Cultural Research in Social & Personality Psychology

Our e-group CCRISPP started in 2016 as an urge to collect cross-cultural data for our own studies. The partnership got stronger, and we decided to officialize it. Since then, we have published several papers (See the "Publications" section), got grant approvals, and joined international collaborative projects.

Dr. Paul Hanel

Paul is a lecturer at the University of Essex (United Kingdom). He holds a PhD in Psychology (Cardiff University, UK). His research interests include social, personality, political, and cross-cultural psychology as well as science communication and research methods.

Dr. Renan Monteiro

Renan is a lecturer at the Federal University of Mato Grosso (Brazil). He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology (Federal University of Paraíba, Brazil). His research interests include psychometrics, and social and personality psychology, with focus on human values and personality traits.

Dr. Roosevelt Vilar

Roosevelt is a lecturer at the Cruzeiro do Sul University (Brazil). He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology (Massey University, New Zealand). His research interests include political, social and personality psychology, and psychometrics, with focus on human values, attitudes toward politicians, trust in institutions, and environmental attitudes.

Dr. Audrey DunnGalvinAudrey is a lecturer in the School of Applied Psychology at University College Cork (Ireland). He holds a PhD in Applied Psychology at the same university. Her research interests are focused on children and families and health-related quality of life, more specifically in the psychological effects of living with food allergy.

Dr. Lukas WolfLukas is Research Associate at Universith of Bath (United Kingdom). He holds a PhD in Psychology (Cardiff University, UK). His research focuses on human values and attitudes, and how they relate to and shape prosocial/proenvironmental outcomes.

Dr. Ana KarlaAna is a lecturer at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (Brazil). She holds a PhD in Psychology (Federal University of Paraíba, BR). Her research interests include social psychology and psychometrics, focusing on human values, perfectionism, and procrastination, using samples of children.
