Gravesend Ladies Hockey Club (GLHC) adheres to a set of rules which members are expected to follow as part of the Terms and Conditions of their membership.

Gravesend Ladies Hockey Club is committed to creating and maintaining a safe and positive environment for all young people involved in hockey. It accepts its responsibility to help safeguard the welfare of all young people and protect them from poor practice, abuse and bullying. Injury reporting plays a vital role in keeping hockey safe for everyone involved. By collecting accurate information on injuries sustained during hockey activity, patterns and trends can be identified helping to inform decisions that make the game safer at all levels. As a club we adhere to England Hockey policy which can be found here. Please ensure and injuries are made known to your captains.
Health and safety guidance for hockey: Regardless of the activity taking place, whether in a game or training, as a club providing a safe environment for everyone involved in hockey is essential.
Guidance and Policies: As per England Hockey recommendations, the committee have familiarised themselves with the relevant policies and guidance. It is the responsibility of everyone within the out club to create a safe environment for all who participate, so it is therefore recommended that you read through the policies here
