About Us

We are Andrew Schaefer, Christopher Lewis, and Reed Vilar. We are seniors at Glenelg High School 2021-2022. We are passionate about engineering and science. We strive to do our best in the work we do, and take great pride in it.

About the Members

Andrew Schaefer

I'm Andrew Schaefer, I am currently a senior at Glenelg High School. I participate in Glenelg High School's robotics team the Robotiators. In robotics we work together as a team to build robots to compete in a competitions. As an older member of the team, it is my job to lead the younger members and teach them the skills I learn. I also participate in STEM academies at the Applied Physics Lab where I learn more STEM skills including coding, electronics, and design thinking.

Christopher Lewis

I'm Christopher Lewis, I am a senior at Glenelg High School for the class of 2022. I have throughout high school taken all the classes part of the Project Lead The Way to learn more about STEM and apply it in our projects. I also am a club president for literature, where I have learned many leadership skills that I can utilize along with my STEM experience to put forward for this project.

Reed Vilar

I'm Reed Vilar, I am currently a senior at Glenelg High School. I have multiple experiences in which engineering was a valuable skill. I have used the skills to build upon my ability to plan and execute a project to the best of my abilities. I have many volunteer hours in which I helped build houses and do other similar projects most of which had some of the steps of engineering used in them.
