About Me

I grew up spending time outdoors and playing sports in Sugarloaf, Pennsylvania. I attended the University of Georgia in 2011 hoping to obtain my Bachelor's degree in biology and one day become a high school biology teacher. I changed my major to fisheries and aquatic sciences at freshman orientation and never looked back.

I spent my time at the University of Georgia in the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources where I received my Bachelor's degree in fisheries and aquatic sciences in December 2014. During the summers between spring and fall semester, I had the opportunity to work at a fish hatchery in Alaska and as a native trout intern in Yellowstone National Park. I also had a short period of time working at the Clearwater fish hatchery with the Idaho Fish and Game in Orofino, Idaho.

I enjoy many activities including flyfishing, backpacking, mountain biking, climbing, and skiing. I also love to paint and draw fish in my free time.
