The cover of night was the only sure way for the citizens to discuss revolution in secrecy. And so, they meet at night, covered by the darkness, so their identities would remain hidden from the king's spies. Making sure not to speak too loudly and not draw too much attention to themselves. Wong said, "The time to strike is the night of the party!"
With their plan in place, the citizens began preparing their resources. They began mobilizing men under the castle walls and awaiting Wong's signal. The king was a very frightened man. Scared that anyone and everyone would attempt to usurp him, so although tonight was his party night, he was still clad in his battle armor, sitting on his throne, spear in hand and ready for enemies.
The castle was bustling with the top officials. Precious food, rich spirits, were plastered all around the courtyard while their subjects starve just outside those walls. These evil men did not care about the people. They only cared if their pockets were full, and that was it. It was the perfect distraction.
