About

GAPS is an informal seminar run by and for mathematics students at the University of Glasgow, serving as a companion to the Glasgow Algebra and Number Theory Seminar. The seminar has two aims: 

Each weekly talk is given by a student in a related research area to the main seminar - if you are interested in giving a talk at some point please contact the organisers. All are welcome to attend, even those with only a slight interest in algebra and/or number theory!

GAPS is currently organised by Anna Maria Nölle and Parth Shimpi, and was started by Ross Paterson prior to the pandemic.
