FAQ

What Kind of Person Are You?

Most people would characterize me as a “people person,” energetic (a hard worker!), and someone who likes to help others. In that I am a KISD employee entrusted to work with children, I have passed a state-certified background check.

What Kind of Work Are You Willing to Do?

While I am really willing to do pretty much anything that needs to be done – whether solely working on one project, or helping knock off a “Do List,” one thing at a time – I am not a skilled repairman who can fix electrical, plumbing or other utility-related appliances.

What Can You Do???

I am really willing to help in any way I can...

Clearing out your garage / attic

Hanging pictures

Vacuuming / cleaning

Painting a bedroom

Figuring (some!) things on your computer

Weeding your garden

Ironing your laundry

Cleaning out your deep freeze

Running errands

Hauling away junk in my pick-up

Accompanying a senior citizen

Tutoring your kids

You get the idea! :-)

How Much Do You Charge?

I charge a flat rate of $22.50 per hour from the time I arrive until the time the job is done. If we have a conversation once the job is done, that is on me! The minimum commitment is two hours ($45).

Note: The hourly rate drops once we hit four hours in a single day. Be sure to ask about discounts for senior citizens!

Are You a Registered Business?

I have registered the business as glad2help LLC (should be complete by 6/19). We will both sign a “Release of Liability” statement so that both of us are not liable for any property damage / personal injury that might occur on the job.

How Do I Pay?

You may pay by cash, check or transfer by Paypal / Venmo / Zelle, etc.
