Strongly opposing Crony capitalism, I advocate for Free Market capitalism, following the Austrian School of economics. Eliminating unnecessary regulation, so as to ensure fair competition in the Markets.
I also wish to see a return to the gold standard instead of our current debt based currency.
A strong opponent of interventionism, I believe to instead establish friendly relations with other nations, focusing on friendly trade.
I also wish to cut foreign aid to most if not all nations due to how many tax dollars are wasted on it as well as the unintended consequences that happens all to commonly
I am a strong critic of public education and wish for education to go back from being a federal level issue, to that of the local community. Private schools and home schooling can be great alternatives compared to Public schooling.
In order to make Private schools more affordable I will advocate for a plan that would allow parents, if they are dissatisfied with their local public school, they can request for voucher of around the same amount that the federal government would "pay" for in a public school, to pay to get their child into a private school.
The claim that "Taxes are the price we pay for civilization" costs us dearly. While income tax was original a low flat 3% tax to fund the civil war, it has grown greatly with D.C politicians trying to find different ways to take money from you whether it's property, sin tax and even inheritance tax. I will advocate for a decrease in taxes for all individuals as well as to repeal some of the many taxes that are a blight to our nations freedom.
I consider myself a strong supporter of gun rights for our local state and will fight for all I got to protect our right to defend ourselves from a tyrannical government. There are many examples of cases where guns have helped protect the week from many different forms of violence throughout the nation. Disarming the population would only leave them vulnerable to potentially tyrannical cops or even to an oppressive government, if god forbid that would ever happen.
In order to help poorer regions in Lincoln, I will advocate for the creation of "Opportunity zones" in regions with low unemployment. To put it simply small and major companies that open shop in those areas will receive tax deduction of up to 40% for several years in the region. Unemployment will decrease as people will begin to work in said business and start to gain new skills from where they can climb up the wealth ladder.
