Set a Reading Goal

Set Your Goal: how much will you read during the Read-A-Thon?

• K–2: Pick a number of books to finish.

• 3–5: Challenge yourself with a total number of pages.

Ask family and friends to sponsor your reading. Here are a few ways you can ask:

• “I’m reading to help my school. Will you sponsor me for our Read-A-Thon?”

• “I’m raising money for our school by reading. You can support me by donating any amount to my Read-A-Thon.”

After you’ve read and tracked, let families and friends know how you did and thank them for their support!
