My higher education started in Trento, where I received by BSc in Econonomics and Management (01/2013). I then moved to Pisa, where I took my first steps in environmental economics, graduating as MSc in Economics Sciences with a dissertation on the relationship between trade and global pollution (06/2015). My PhD in Developing Economics was jointly offered by the universities of Trento and Florence. I spent most of my time as a PhD candidate in Florence, eventually defending my dissertation on the Consequences of Environmental Degradation in Developing Countries (04/2019).
My first post-doctoral position was at the University of Siena, as research scholar studying Emissions Trading Systems under the supervision of prof. Simone Borghesi (04-10/2019). I then joined FSR Climate at the European University Institute to work on ETS linking under the Life DICET project (11/2019 - 05/2021). Leaving Tuscany after having lived there for roughly seven years (!), I have recently traced back on my journey and joined the University of Trento as postdoctoral researcher (06/2021 - 05/2024), then moved on to Euricse (European Research Institute on Cooperative and Social Enterprises) to produce scientifically robust, actionable knowledge (05/2024 - onwards).
