About Me
I am currently a Hedrick Assistant Adjunct Professor in the Department of Mathematics at University of California, Los Angeles. My research interests are broad and lie in mathematical economics, econometrics, financial mathematics, and environmental economics. You can find descriptions of my papers in the Research Page, and a list of my past talks and presentations in the Talks Page.
At UCLA, I am currently teaching Linear Algebra and Applications (Math 33A), Introduction to Probability (Math 170E), Introduction to Statistics (Math 170S), and Theory of Interest and Applications (Math 177).
I also like to serve in committees and organizations. See the Service Page for more details.
Finally, in addition to learning new things and tackling problems related to economics and financial mathematics, I have many hobbies. I like to spend most of my free time outdoors, mostly hiking and backpacking. I also like music. I have been studying guitar for many years, and I love spending time practicing and playing my favorite songs both alone and with friends.
