Lesson Plan: Exploring Historical Figures and English Language Activities

Activity 1: Exploring Historical Figures with Hello Historia (15 minutes)

• Introduction:

  • Briefly introduce the Hello Historia app and its purpose: to learn about historical figures through interactive AI chats.

• Procedure:

• 1. Pair Activity:

     • Pair students up and assign each pair a historical figure (e.g., Leonardo da Vinci, Cleopatra).

     • Using the Hello Historia app, students take turns engaging in AI chats with their assigned figure.

  2. Activity Task:

     • Students will ask predetermined questions and listen to responses, learning about the figure's life and achievements.
       
       

Activity 2: English Language Practice with LearnHip (15 minutes)

• Introduction:

  • Introduce LearnHip as a platform for interactive English language learning activities.

• Procedure:

• 1. Whole Class Activity:

     • Display a selected LearnHip activity on the screen (e.g., scrambled sentences related to historical figures or vocabulary quizzes).

  2. Activity Task:

     • Students individually access LearnHip on their devices (using provided login details) and complete the assigned activity.

  3. Discussion:

     • Review answers as a class, discussing correct responses and reinforcing language concepts related to the historical figures studied.

Conclusion/Closure (5 minutes)
