I am a researcher in Economics and Wellbeing at STATEC Research, the national statistics office of Luxembourg.
I obtained my PhD in Economics at the University of Siena, and I hold a Msc double degree in Economics from the University of Essex and from the University of Konstanz.
My research focuses on social capital, subjective well-being and sustainability. In particular, my work aims at estimating defensive growth and defensive consumption, and at identifying policies to make growth compatible with societies’ well-being and sustainability. I am also interested in labor market phenomena and their relationship to people’s mental health and life satisfaction.
Other research interests include economic policy, microeconometrics, post-growth economics, social economics, inequality and sociology.
