YOUTUBE PLAYLIST

I have created this YouTube playlist for Kindergarten and 1st grade students. This playlist includes educational videos: numbers, shapes, alphabet, reading, counting, etc. These videos are a great way to make learning fun. Having fun educational videos for students to watch will help children be engaged in the lesson.

GOOGLE URL SHORTNER

goo.gl/

· The link to the left of the screen "goo.gl" will give access to shorten long links.

· Websites like google URL shorter are helpful to make websites links appear simple and help save time typing.

GCL LEARNING

- Completed Computer Basics and Internet Safety on GCL Learning.

- GCL Learning helps students know the basis of operating a computer such as getting started on a desktop and laptop computer. Also, teaches how to protect computers and create a safe workspace environment.

- Not only does GCL learning have courses in teaching computer basics but also shows Internet safety such as social media privacy.

Pintrest is an application where people can upload pictures (Pins) and link them to their website where then one can learn more information about the given picture.
Pintrest is a great place for educators to find creative activities to engage students.
Even though Pintrest pins can be very helpful there is also some you might come across that dont offer great suggestions. For example, in one of the pins it was suggested to buy materials for activity but that activity had a affiliate link which makes one think there are just promoting the product because they have recieved money out of it not becuase it could be helpful for students.

Infographic

Inforgraphics are graphics/visual images that represent information of any given subject
Inforgraphics are great to use for people who are visual learners.
Personally, I am a visual learner, I find I learn best when visuals are involved in a lesson. The material is easier to comprehend.

Screenshots are a great way to save data that you need to look back at a later time for refrence.

embed video

Embeddeding a video is essentially borrowing a video from another site
To embedd something to your site of choice a code is needed to enable the tool.
I embbed the video to the left from youtube which was fairly easy to do. I clicked on share at the bottom of the video, clicked embed, copied the code which is called HTML, and finally pasted the code to my site.
