Esri Site License

Through the Foundation for California Community Colleges, Cabrillo College supports an Esri Site License that provides all active Cabrillo students, faculty and staff access to a wealth of Esri software and training resources including:

ArcGIS Desktop

  • ArcGIS for Desktop is a professional GIS software suite used to create maps and map data, analyze geographic data. This application is the basis for instruction in Geography 17 and is available on all computers in SAC West 202 and select systems in the STEM lab and Computer Technology Center (CTC).

ArcGIS Online

  • ArcGIS Online is a web-based GIS application for creating and sharing maps and other geospatial content. It is provides access to a huge repository of online map data and offers easy-to-use templates to share your own data and research online through Cabrillo's ArcGIS Online Community.

Esri Web Training

Esri E-Training subscriptions provides a wide range of web-based courses and webinars to launch or advance GIS skills. This is a great way to get started with GIS, learn more about some of the latest GIS tools or hone new skills through hands-on training at your own pace.

Request Access

Faculty and staff may install any software product included in the Esri Site License on their personally owned computer for use in instruction and research. Active Cabrillo students can request a 1-year ArcGIS Student License for installation on student personal computers. Click here for more details.
