Girls Take a Seat is a 16-week virtual mentorship program for girls in grades 6–12 across Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey. Each mentee is paired with a college-trained mentor for 1:1 support and guidance, while participating in weekly curriculum meetings and growth-based assignments. Our program focuses on building confidence, leadership, wellness, and professionalism to help girls increase their visibility and thrive in every space they enter.
Academic sessions will be held via zoom by grade level. Students have the chance to participate in open discussions and interactive activities.
Students will be asked to complete small assignments each week. These include things like reflection prompts and goal-setting tasks.
