Character Creation

Here is a brief overview of your options when starting a new game. You can find more detailed infos in the linked entries.

Ingame you will find recommended choices or defaults (eg for your name) to help you when in doubt.

1. How your character picture is selected:

- dynamical: the displayed character face can change. It depends on your hairstyle, length and colour.

- fixed: only the file avatar.jpg in the image folder is used. Feel free to replace it.

This is only aesthetic and has no impact on gameplay.

2. Your game start:

There are three main start types:

- Last year of school

- In the city after graduation

- First year of university (also in the city)

For each start type you can choose:

- Standard

- Magical (Your character will gain magic abilities and learn about a secret magical world)

- M2F (As magical start, but your character will also be turned into a girl)

The main start types determine your age, location and housing.  City and university starts gain additional money and items.

3. Customization:

- name

- birthday

- hair and eyes

- background/social group 

For school starts also:

- start in June or August

- start in Gadukino or Pavlovsk

Your background determines your attributes, skills, items, relations and money.

Exception: you can't pick a background during the M2F school start. Check this entry for details.

Social group is quite important in highschool, in later game starts not so much (just like in real life). It changes relations to schoolmates/teachers, how you are treated by members of your own and other groups and what behaviour is expected to fit in. You can change your social group later as well - by getting kicked out or invited into another group.

Full custom setup: instead of choosing a background, you can also set all values manually. Only recommended for experienced players.

Starting as a schoolgirl in June gives you full three months, before school starts again. This can be a great opportunity to make money, train or explore, but note that content is also somewhat limited during this time since you will not be able to progress in several storylines until September. Starting in August gives you just six days until school start, so you can dive right in (recommended option)

Pavlovsk is your hometown and offers a good selection of services, shops and things to do (recommended option).

Gadukino is where your grandparents live. A rural village with not so many things to do, one shop and no services.
