I consider Public Engagement as the valuable contribution an academic person can provide for a better society.

For such a reason, closely related to my research interests grounded on Innovation and Tech Entrepreneurship, I have been involved for so many years in the academic entrepreneurship field. 

Within this, I have been Rector's Delegate for the StartCup Palermo for 7 years, board member (10 years) and President (3 years) of PNICube and I am actually collaborating with EIT Health, EIT Digital and within the Enterprise Europe Network, for strengthening the European ecosystem of academic and deep-tech entrepreneurial ventures.
