Results
Our boat floats on water and has an average heat capacity
Can collect trash with proper functionality
After leaving the vials in an upright position and in a 75 degrees Fahrenheit location for 24 hours. The results are that the color of the liquid inside the vials did not change, therefore the presence of bacteria was not found before or after using our prototype.
Conclusion
The prototype functions and has mobilization in water
The prototype can collect and keep surface trash in the net
Levels of bacteria did not decrease, therefore the prototype did not work
The prototype needs to be improved to help decrease bacteria levels in water
The prototype can possibly be improved if it picks up more garbage that causes high bacteria levels in the bay such as animal waste.
The testing can be improved if it is done with a small created body of water that has no added chemicals
