Originally from Cranford, NJ, I left home at 18 to seek my fortunes in Chicago, at the University thereof.

After moving to NYC in 2006 (and after a bit of traveling and language study) I came to teaching English as a second language, which I studied at NYU and Hunter College, where I earned my MA in TESOL.
