A: Tap the "+" button or "New Game" on the welcome screen. Enter player names (2-4 players), choose your game settings, and tap "Start Game." The app will automatically set up the first hand with the first dealer.
A: Yes! Our app supports 2-4 players. While traditional Gin Rummy is typically played with 2 players, our app accommodates group play for family gatherings and parties.
A: The app includes a built-in rules reminder on the new game screen. We explain all hand types (Gin, Big Gin, Knock, Undercut) with their point values and bonuses.

Gin: All 10 cards form combinations with 0 deadwood points (default +25 bonus)
Big Gin: All 11 cards form combinations after drawing from the deck (default +50 bonus)
A: When a player knocks and their opponent has equal or fewer deadwood points, it's an undercut. The opponent wins the hand and receives the knocker's deadwood points plus an undercut bonus (default +10).
A: The game automatically detects when a player reaches or exceeds the target score and prompts you to finish the game. You'll see complete results with statistics and can start a new game with the same players.
A: Absolutely! Go to "Advanced Settings" when creating a new game to customize:
Target score (50-500 points)
Gin bonus (15-50 points)
Big Gin bonus (20-60 points)
Undercut bonus (5-20 points)
A: Yes! The app automatically saves your progress after each hand. You can safely close the app and resume later from the game history screen.
