Privacy Policy - Gin rummy score
Introduction
This privacy policy describes how data is collected, used, and shared in the Carioca Score Counter app, developed by Javier Dosque.
Data Collected
Carioca Score Counter collects and stores only the following information:
Player names entered by the user
Round-by-round scores of each game
Dates and times of games
History of completed games
Data Storage
All data is stored locally on the user’s device using iOS’s secure storage system (UserDefaults).
We do not collect, transmit, or send any information to external servers or cloud services.
Data Sharing
We do not share your data with third parties under any circumstances. All game and score information remains stored exclusively on your personal device.
Use of Data
The collected data is used solely for:
Displaying scores during active games
Maintaining the history of previous games
Automatically calculating totals and winners
Allowing navigation between rounds
Security
The application does not require an internet connection and works fully offline.
Your data is protected by iOS standard security measures and is only accessible from your device.
Backups
Data may be automatically included in iCloud or iTunes backups if the user has these features enabled on their device.
The management and security of these backups are the user’s responsibility and are subject to Apple’s privacy policies.
Your Rights
You have full control over your data:
You can delete individual games from the history
You can erase all data by uninstalling the application
No additional consent is required since the app only handles non-sensitive game data
Children
This application is suitable for all ages. Player names are entered voluntarily and may include minors participating in family games. We do not collect any additional personal information.
